Profile & Story
Gonet-Médeville is a grower Champagne house founded in 2000 by Xavier Gonet and Julie Médeville, farming Premier and Grand Cru parcels across Bisseuil, Ambonnay and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The house blocks malolactic fermentation and keeps dosage minimal to preserve tension and purity of fruit.
Tasting Notes
A blend of 70% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier. Straw yellow with a fine mousse, showing citrus and yellow fruit with hints of ripe banana, yeast and bread crust; the palate is creamy and well balanced, closing on a long, subtly mineral finish.
