Profile & Story
Founded in 1972 in Rioja Alta, Bodegas LAN takes its name from the initials of the three Rioja provinces — Logroño, Álava and Navarra. Viña Lanciano is the estate's flagship single vineyard, a 72-hectare site encircled by a meander of the Ebro River.
Tasting Notes
A blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo from vines up to 60 years old, aged in French and Hungarian oak. Bright cherry red with a violet rim, showing red and black fruit in liqueur, clove, cinnamon and vanilla, with the estate's signature mineral character and ripe, sweet tannins.
