Profile & Story

Grace Wine (Chuo Budoshu Co., Ltd.) is a Japanese winery established in 1923 in Yamanashi Prefecture, one of the pioneers of dry Koshu wine and among the best-known Japanese wineries internationally. Grace Koshu is sourced from vineyards above 400m elevation around Katsunuma, in the Koshu Valley; individual grape bunches are covered with protective shades to minimize autumn rain damage. The wine is 100% Koshu, fermented and matured in stainless steel, producing a dry style.

Tasting Notes

Pale lemon yellow in color, with touches of bright green and pink. The nose shows fresh citrus aromas suggestive of summer mandarins and oranges, alongside apple, pear, acacia and white peach. The palate delivers a rich burst of fruit flavors from well-matured grapes, with pleasant acidity and a refined finish combining umami and acidity.
