The Iris Collection represents the winery's masterfully balanced, everyday California bottlings; this Chenin Blanc is sourced from the Clarksburg appellation and fermented/aged in stainless steel tanks (12.6% ABV).
Tasting Notes
Summer daffodil yellow in the glass, with complex aromatics of lush honeydew melon, lemon oil and fresh nectarine alongside lemon verbena and bergamot. The palate reveals ripe peach, Granny Smith apple and lemon zest, with crisp acidity, a medium mouthfeel and subtle notes of minerality and steeped tea.
Pairing Recommendation
Roasted salmon, braised scallops or Cornish hen; also pairs well with summer salads and pasta with pesto.
