Profile & Story
Weingut Loimer farms roughly 65-70 hectares near Langenlois in Austria's Kamptal region and has been certified biodynamic since 2006 (a founding member of Respekt-Biodyn). "Lois," named for the village of Langenlois, was one of the first high-quality Gruner Veltliners exported internationally when it launched in 1999, made from 100% estate-grown fruit.
Tasting Notes
Pale yellow and purely aromatic, with refreshing scents of marigold, clover blossom, yellow apple, and pineapple, with a hint of white pepper. (Style-typical Lois descriptor; not vintage-specific to the 2017 bottling.)
