Domaine Barmes-Buecher was founded in 1985 by Francois and Genevieve Barmes (nee Buecher) in Wettolsheim, Alsace, uniting both families' vineyard holdings dating back to the 17th century; the estate has been certified biodynamic since 2001. 7 Grains is a field blend co-fermented from seven Alsace grape varieties, including Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Noir, and Muscat.
