Profile & Story
Vincent Prunier founded his domaine in Auxey-Duresses in 1988 with two hectares inherited from his parents and has since grown it to 13 hectares across Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin. He works largely alone, ploughing his vineyards to encourage deeper rooting, hand-harvesting, and aging his wines in a classic mix of new, one-year, and two-year-old oak barriques. This Bourgogne Pinot Noir is sourced from vines on the Cote de Beaune hillsides.
Tasting Notes
Bourgogne Rouge from the Cote de Beaune is typically light-to-medium-bodied, with bright red-cherry fruit, gentle oak spice, and the fine, silky tannins characteristic of village-level Pinot Noir from this part of Burgundy.
