Plymouth Gin has been distilled to the same unique recipe since 1793 in the Black Friars Distillery in the heart of Plymouth on England's South West coast, using seven hand-selected botanicals -- juniper, coriander, orange, lemon, angelica, cardamom, and orris -- chosen by the master distiller. Bottled as "Original Strength" at 41.2% ABV, it is one of the longest continuously produced gins in England.
Tasting Notes
On the nose it is rich in spirit and fresh in aroma, with cardamom and coriander adding spice. The palate is smooth, sweet, and full-bodied, leading into an elegant, long, and aromatic finish.
