Te Pa is a Maori-owned family winery in Marlborough, New Zealand -- the Wineera family's land for over 800 years. This Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from Lower Wairau Valley and Awatere Valley vineyards. ABV approx. 13%.
Tasting Notes
Beautifully perfumed with white peach, guava, feijoa, fresh peas and nettle. A concentrated, precise palate of zesty citrus and summer stone fruit with subtle hints of jalapeno and sage, crisp refreshing acidity and a mineral, saline finish.
Pairing Recommendation
A great match with all seafood, particularly shellfish; also fresh summer salads, soft goat cheese, or paua ravioli in a lemon beurre blanc sauce.
