In 2012 the fifth generation of Familia Torres launched a winegrowing project in Rías Baixas, releasing its first Albariño under the name Pazo das Bruxas, sourced primarily from the Valle de Salnés subzone. The wine takes its name from Galician folklore, honoring the witches said to have gathered among the vines and forests surrounding old manor houses, or pazos, to conjure spirits with their dances and spells.
