Established in 1847, this family estate north-west of the Montagne de Reims is run by fifth-generation winemakers Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche. The Brut Réserve, the estate's foundational cuvée, is made from the classic Champagne trio of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier from vines over 40 years old, roughly one-third each, sourced from estate-owned vineyards; about 70% of the blend is the base-year wine with the balance drawn from a perpetual reserve begun in 1985.
