Profile & Story

Laherte Frères traces its roots to 1889, when Jean-Baptiste Laherte founded the family estate and planted vines on the Chavot lands in the Champagne region. Now spanning seven generations, the roughly 11-hectare domaine is worked today by Thierry and Christian Laherte alongside Aurélien Laherte. This rosé Champagne is built entirely around Meunier, produced exclusively from the family's 30-year-old Pinot Meunier vines — a grape that rarely gets to take a solo bow.

Tasting Notes

Critic Antonio Galloni described the wine as dazzling, rich yet focused, with superb depth, calling it 'a magical Champagne in every way' — orange peel, sweet red berry fruit, cranberry, mint and chalk among the aromas and flavors that develop in the glass.
