Profile & Story
Niepoort has been a family company in the Douro since 1842, six generations into producing wine, and its Vila Nova de Gaia lodges hold more than 150 years of Port-making knowledge; the house follows a biodynamic path across the Douro's biodiversity and plurality of soils. Colheita is a single-harvest tawny Port, aged in cask and bottled with the vintage year stated on the label.
Tasting Notes
Amber-tawny colour with aromas of dried fig, walnut, caramel and orange peel; a sweet, nutty, medium-to-full-bodied palate with a long, gently oxidative finish.
