Royal Tokaji's Aszú berries for the 2018 5 Puttonyos were macerated in fermenting must for two days before pressing. 2018 was an exceptional vintage — the earliest harvest in living memory, with a warm, dry autumn that favored raisining over botrytis, though sporadic showers still allowed quality Aszú berries to be picked.
Tasting Notes
An intense nose of grapefruit, apricot and spice, elegant and floral; rich, full palate balanced by botrytis-induced crisp acidity, with a long, opulent, vivacious finish.

Serve cool as an aperitif, with fruit-based desserts or hard cheeses — or on its own instead of a dessert.
