Profile & Story

The Nozzole estate is part of the Folonari family's winemaking tradition dating to the 1700s, spanning roughly 1,000 acres in Chianti Classico north of Greve at 300 meters elevation, on land that has grown grapes for seven centuries. Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and crushed, then fermented on the skins in temperature-controlled steel with an extended maceration before being racked to steel for malolactic fermentation and aged in oak vats and bottle.
