Profile & Story

Marcel Couturier built his estate in the commune of Fuisse, overlooking Loche and the Mâcon, making his first vintage in 2005; his children Cladie and Auxence have since joined him. The domaine covers all the white wines of the southern Mâconnais, vinified and matured for about 11 months in oak barrels sourced exclusively from French forests. The estate sits within a fault zone, giving it both sandstone and schist soils alongside older limestone-and-clay parcels, a mix that shapes the wines' floral character and fruity finish.
