Domaine Gadais Pere et Fils farms on the hilltops overlooking the Sevre and Maine rivers, on steep orthogneiss slopes once marked by windmills, well suited to a subtle, delicate Muscadet. Domaine de la Tourmaline is the fruit of a careful blending process across the estate's many distinct plots, vinified with minimal intervention using gravity-fed, semi-underground, geothermic facilities. It is aged sur lie in the classic Nantes tradition for a minimum of six months, in the tradition of the great wines of the Loire.
