Louis de Sacy is a Champagne house in Verzy, twelve generations of Champagne makers overseen today by Alain Sacy. Cuvee Originel is exceptionally elaborated from well-structured parcels within the house's holdings.
Tasting Notes
A well-structured Champagne without aggressiveness, with a long finish that lets the terroir fully express itself. Fine, prolific mousse; typical Champagne colour with a hint of yellow gold. The nose mixes flowers and fruit with well-developed maturity -- smoke, ripe damson plum and blackberry riding the creamy mousse, layered with lightly charred toast, golden raisin and roasted nut, closing on a tangy finish.
