Txomin Etxaniz farms in Getaria, a historic Basque seafaring town and the home of txakoli, tracing the estate back to Domingo de Etxaniz in 1649 and continuing today with the Txueka-Etxaniz family, who helped establish the DO Getariako Txakolina in 1989. The wine is made from the ancient, rustic Hondarrabi Zuri vines native to the area.
