Profile & Story
Blouge is a collaboration between grower Cyril Cuche and his nephew Elliot, made with the stated goal of a delicious, naturally made wine at an accessible price. It blends a rose-method Cinsault base with a carbonic-macerated Cinsault fermented in an outdoor circular Italian cement tank, along with Grenache and a slightly reductive Grenache Gris added for freshness, acidity and minerality through bottling. Tasting Notes
A textural wine reminiscent of Poulsard, balancing freshness with southern ripeness at under 12% alcohol - more vinous and colorful than a typical rose, in the style of a Tavel.
