Weingut Sommer has farmed the southeast-facing slopes of the Leithaberg, in Donnerskirchen, Burgenland, since 1698; a new generation took over the estate in 2023. The oldest vines grow in sparse, ancient bedrock soil under organic cultivation, and the family favors minimal intervention in the cellar. Little Sister is positioned as the playful, more approachable counterpart to the estate's flagship Grüner Veltliner, Salz und Rauch.
