Cristom Vineyards was established in 1992 in Oregon's Eola-Amity Hills, where Mt. Jefferson Cuvée - first made in 1994 and known in-house as "Mt. Jeff" - has become the estate's flagship, hallmark for its blend of whole-cluster and native-yeast fermentation. The 2024 vintage marks its 30th release and, for the first time, is crafted entirely from 100% estate fruit: the Paul Gerrie (35%), Eileen (30%), Louise (20%) and Jessie (15%) vineyards, planted on Columbia River volcanic basalt soils in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, where coastal winds funneled through the Van Duzer Corridor shape the fruit's structure. The wine is hand-harvested and hand-sorted, fermented with 43% whole clusters and native yeast, aged 11 months on its lees in 16% new French oak, and bottled unfined and unfiltered at 13.5% alcohol.
