Domaine Brusset farms in Cairanne in the southern Rhône, and Les Travers is sourced from vines averaging around 30 years old, blending Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Each variety is vinified separately by traditional destemmed fermentation over roughly 20 days in vat, and the wine is aged for 10 months, 70% in vat and 30% in three- to four-year-old barrels; the estate recommends cellaring it for 5 to 8 years.
