Movia, in the Brda hills on the Slovenia-Italy border under Ales Kristancic, is farmed naturally. This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, given extended macerations of up to four weeks and three years of ageing in oak.
Tasting Notes
Deep, dense ruby with slow, extractive 'tears' in the glass. An intense bouquet of blackcurrant, blueberry, blackberry and mulberry with red rose petal, licorice, black pepper, fern and forest undergrowth, opening to chocolate, coffee and a note of smoke. Intense and refined on the palate, its youthful, drying tannins playing against freshness in a long, elegant finish that echoes blackberry, pepper and smoke.

An authentic match for a Florentine steak, or a venison dish paired with chocolate or another sweet sauce.
