Tenuta Est is a tiny winery in the far east of Serbia, in the Rogljevo-Rajac area of the Negotin Valley (Timok region), run by young winemaker Marko Obradovic, who returned from time in Italy and France to help revive this historic winemaking region. 'Nera' was one of his first wines; he still marks his wines with numbers to remember where he began. It is 100% Crna Tamjanika (black muscat), a grape essentially indigenous to this region, hand-picked in late September, fermented with indigenous yeasts in open vessels, macerated for three weeks and aged 12 months in stainless steel, unfined and unfiltered. 14.5% alcohol.
