Lakewood Vineyards is a family-owned farm winery on the west side of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes, established in 1988; winemaker Chris Stamp (grandson of the founders) has crafted every vintage, while his cousin David Stamp oversees the estate's 100 acres of vineyards, some vines dating to 1952. Bubbly Catawba is a fruity, spritzy sparkling wine built on Catawba, America's original native sparkling-wine grape (current release blends 91% Catawba, 6.5% Cayuga White, 2.5% Vincent).
