Profile & Story

Eric Taillet is a fourth-generation grower in Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, in Champagne's Vallée de la Marne, farming just over six hectares planted overwhelmingly to Pinot Meunier, the grape his entire estate is built around. Exclusiv'T is composed of 100% Meunier, blending in 20-30% reserve wines drawn from a perpetual reserve he began in 2011, then aged more than two years on the lees before a light dosage.

Tasting Notes

Yellow and lightly stewed, caramelized apricot lead into creamy vanilla and pastry notes, with a whisper of white flowers underneath. Round and smooth on the palate, it finishes powerful yet elegant.
