Gundlach Bundschu is California's oldest continuously family-owned winery, farming Merlot across three distinct microclimates on their Rhinefarm estate at the meeting point of Sonoma Valley, Carneros, and Napa. The blend draws structure from cooler blocks and richness from warmer ones before aging in French oak.

Tasting Notes

Blueberry, black tea, cocoa, and spice box lead the nose, with cooler sites lending spicy red fruit and mineral lift and warmer sites contributing darker fruit and lush breadth.
