Profile & Story
The Clément family has farmed vines in Menetou-Salon since 1560, making Domaine de Châtenoy one of the oldest family estates in the Centre-Loire. This bottling is 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown on the Kimmeridgian limestone that also runs through Chablis and Sancerre, fermented and aged in stainless steel with indigenous yeast and no malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes
Citrus zest and passion fruit lead a fresh, precise nose, with a bright, saline mineral edge on the palate and a clean, lengthy finish.
