Profile & Story

Momento is the South African project of winemaker Marelise Niemann, based at Anysbos Farm in Bot River. This blend pairs Chenin Blanc from 41-year-old dryland bush vines in the Paardeberg with Verdelho from two Voor Paardeberg and Bot River sites, hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed before aging in old French oak.

Tasting Notes

Jasmine, lemon rind, and wet stone lead the nose, with the Chenin's generous fruit and mouthfeel balanced by the Verdelho's zesty acidity.
