Profile & Story
Massaya is a Lebanese winery in the Beqaa Valley near Chtaura and Zahle, founded by the Ghosn brothers in partnership with Rhone winemakers Dominique Hebrard and the Brunier family. Grapes for this rose are grown on foothills of the Mount Lebanon range at 1,200-1,600m in chalky clay soils, hand harvested, pneumatic-pressed and fermented in stainless steel, then aged 8 months in steel.
Tasting Notes
A bright strawberry-pink color with delicate strawberry and pink cherry notes, a touch of floral lift, a faintly creamy texture and a crunchy, refreshing finish.
