Profile & Story
Château Lestage has been farmed by the Chanfreau family for more than fifty years, on 42 hectares in the Listrac-Médoc appellation plus a further 9 hectares in Moulis-en-Médoc, on the high plateau of the Puy de Menjon. Classified Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in 1932 and reconfirmed in 2003, the wine blends Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
Tasting Notes
A deep purple color with an attractive, clean bouquet of lifted strawberry and raspberry infused with a touch of vanilla oak. The palate offers ripe red fruit and black-currant flavors, good structure and silky tannins, with a long, harmonious finish.

Pairs well with grilled red meat, cheese, or chocolate cake.
