Profile & Story
Clos de los Siete is the collaborative project of Bordeaux oenologist Michel Rolland and a group of Bordelais winegrowing families, founded on 850 hectares at the foot of the Andes in Mendoza's Uco Valley. The wine blends Malbec with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, aged in French oak.
Tasting Notes
A bright purplish-red color with intense, seductive aromas of dark fruit, freshness and light spice. The palate is elegant and silky, with red-fruit notes and a hint of minerality, backed by fine tannins from the region's dry climate and wide diurnal swings.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs well with Argentine asado, sauced flank steak, or grilled burgers.
