Profile & Story
Lamole di Lamole farms some of Chianti Classico's highest-altitude vineyards, in the Lamole hamlet within the Greve in Chianti commune. This Maggiolo bottling blends Sangiovese with small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; the Sangiovese is aged roughly eighteen months in oak casks, the international varieties in barriques.
Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red with a floral bouquet of cyclamen and violet, and fruity notes of mulberry, blackberry and blueberry with hints of sweet spice and cacao. The palate is fresh yet mellow.
