Segura Viudas is a historic Cava house in the Penedès region of Catalonia, Spain. Its Brut blends 50% Macabeo, 30% Xarel·lo and 20% Parellada, undergoing a minimum of twelve months' traditional-method aging on the lees after a three-month pre-tirage autolysis, giving the wine notable complexity for its price point.
Tasting Notes
Fruity, fresh and complex, with white fruit, citrus and tropical fruit aromas alongside light floral notes. The palate is exquisite and full of flavor, with good acidity and hints of lime and pineapple; dry and long on the finish.
