Profile & Story

La Sibilla is a family winery run by the Di Meo family in Bacoli, at the heart of the Campi Flegrei just west of Naples. For five generations they have cultivated ungrafted, own-rooted vines planted directly in the area's volcanic, sandy soils. The estate's Falanghina is made from 100% Falanghina Flegrea grown around Bacoli, fermented in steel at controlled temperature and aged for three months on its fine lees before bottling, a straightforward approach meant to let the volcanic terroir speak.

Tasting Notes

Straw yellow with green highlights. The nose bursts with citrus zest, green apple, and white peach, lifted by subtle floral notes of jasmine and a hint of herbs. The palate is bright and saline, with the Campi Flegrei's volcanic minerality carrying through a clean, persistent finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Ready to drink and versatile at the table, this Falanghina is a natural match for seafood, white meats, and vegetable-forward dishes.
