Librandi is one of Calabria's leading estates, farming across the Ciro, Crucoli, and Melissa zones with three decades of focused work in the Ciro DOC. Segno Librandi is the culmination of that work across four estates, built entirely from single-variety Gaglioppo to give a classic, approachable expression of the appellation's most historic grape.
Tasting Notes
A deep, captivating ruby red. The nose shows ripe red fruit like cherry and plum, enriched with subtle spice and hints of tobacco and leather from careful aging. The palate is vigorous yet harmonious, with fruit and spice folding into a soft but present tannin, closing on persistent notes of earth and wild berry with a warm, enveloping sensation.
