Poggio delle Baccanti is a three-generation family winery based in Sant'Antonio Abate, in the province of Naples, on the slopes of the Lattari mountains near Mount Vesuvius. Founded in the 1950s by Raffaele La Mura, the estate is run today by brothers Raffaele and Paolo La Mura together with their cousins Giovanni and Raffaele. The family farms organically on volcanic soils and favors minimal-intervention winemaking, aiming for wines that speak clearly of this corner of Campania. Their Gragnano is built from the indigenous Piedirosso, Aglianico, and Sciascinoso, the traditional blend of the Penisola Sorrentina, fermented spontaneously to preserve the grapes' natural character.
