Profile & Story

Sartarelli is one of the leading estates of the Castelli di Jesi, farming in the Marche hills above Ancona under the motto 'In Verdicchio Veritas.' Tralivio is drawn from the estate's oldest vineyard parcels, with yields deliberately reduced to just 8-9 tons per hectare. Grapes are hand-harvested into small crates, then softly pressed and fermented at controlled temperature — traditional, low-intervention work meant to capture the site's full expression. Roughly 90,000 bottles are made each year, and the wine is built for extended aging.

The estate recommends it with sushi, salmon, and other raw fish, as well as more elaborate fish and white meat dishes, spiced foods, chicken or rabbit, lamb fricassee, mushrooms, truffles, and medium-aged cheeses.
