Profile & Story

Bodegas Santalba was founded in 1998 by Santiago Ijalba in Gimileo, near Haro in the Rioja Alta, and is today run by father and son Santiago and Roberto Ijalba. The Ermita de San Felices range takes its name from the hermitage and patron saint of Haro; this Reserva is 100% Tempranillo from vineyards over 80 years old near the cliffs of Bilibio, aged in American oak.
