Profile & Story
Val di Toro is a family-owned, certified-organic winery in the Maremma of southern Tuscany, near Grosseto, founded in 2003 by Anna Maria Cruciata and Hugh Maxwell on former cattle-grazing land. Auramaris is a DOC Maremma Toscana Vermentino blended with 15% Grechetto, produced in a run of about 11,000 bottles at roughly 13.5% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant yellow with light golden reflections; aromas of citrus, apple, pear and exotic fruit lead to a fresh, sappy palate with lively acidity.
