Tenute Neirano is based in a restored 17th-century villa in Casalotto di Mombaruzzo, in Piedmont's Monferrato hills, founded by Giacomo Sperone in 1911 and now in its fifth generation. Their Barolo DOCG comes from Nebbiolo grown near Monforte d'Alba.
Tasting Notes
Classic Barolo structure of dried rose, tar and red cherry, with the firm, long-aging tannins and bright acidity typical of Nebbiolo from the Barolo zone.
