Bodegas Chivite traces its history to a 1647 mortgage document recording a winery and vineyards, and passed through eleven generations of the same family before being acquired by the Catalan Perelada group in 2017. J. Chivite Family Estates is rooted in the 600-hectare Finca Legardeta on the slopes of Montejurra in Navarra's Tierra Estella, whose clay-limestone soils and Atlantic influence built Chivite's reputation for setting Navarra's rosé standard.
