Profile & Story

Bodegas Copaboca, based in Tordesillas (Valladolid), farms 135 hectares within the Vega del Duero-Riberas de Castronuño Nature Reserve across the Rueda and Ribera del Duero D.O.s. Gorgorito Verdejo is 100% Verdejo from the Valle Gorgorito, one of the southernmost zones of the Rueda appellation; grapes are destemmed, gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel. The wine won a Gold Medal at the Berliner Wein Trophy.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of apple, grass, honey, citrus and floral, with fresh hints of gooseberry and herbs — a profile similar to Sauvignon Blanc.
