Profile & Story
La Comarcal was founded in 2017 by Javi Revert and Victor Marqués, friends who met working together for over a decade at Celler del Roure. Based in the mountain village of Venta del Moro in D.O. Valencia, the estate farms native varieties organically with native-yeast fermentation and minimal sulfur; DelMoro's Garnacha (80% of the blend, from a single 4-hectare vineyard planted in 1987) ferments separately in stainless steel, while the Bobal and Syrah age eight months in old barrels before blending.
Tasting Notes
Juicy red wine with aromas of red fruits, notes of Mediterranean herbs and spicy touches; fresh and rustic, with floral notes and a slightly balsamic background.
