Established in 1502 and now owned by Michel Reybier (also of Chateau Cos d'Estournel), Chateau Hetszolo farms seven historic parcels in Tokaj, long classified among the region's finest vineyards. The Aszu berries are hand-harvested across several passes and macerated in fresh must for two to two and a half years in oak.
Tasting Notes
Notes of quince, honey, caramel apple, cinnamon, and marmalade, layered over remarkable freshness and structure for a wine with decades of aging potential.
