Desire Lines Wine Co. is a small California negociant project run by Cody and Emily Rasmussen, sourcing single-vineyard fruit from some of the state's most compelling sites. This Riesling comes from Cole Ranch, the smallest AVA in the United States and its only single-vineyard appellation -- dry-farmed, head-trained vines planted in 1973 by John Cole in a narrow Mendocino County valley cooled by maritime air off nearby Anderson Valley.

Tasting Notes

A vibrant, saline expression of Riesling with citrus peel, exotic white flowers, chalky minerality, and a touch of white pepper and mint, carried by vivid acidity.
