Jerome Fornerot founded his eponymous domaine in Saint-Aubin in 2004, building his reputation for precise, mineral, never-overworked whites after decades of selling grapes to negociants. This Hautes-Cotes de Beaune bottling comes from high-elevation parcels above his Saint-Aubin base, farmed across contrasting white clay-limestone and red volcanic-influenced soils.

Fresh and grassy, with apple, pear, and a touch of vanilla and butter over a sapid, mineral-driven frame -- a cooler, more taut expression of Cote de Beaune Chardonnay.
