Domaine aux Moines is a 12-hectare, organic and biodynamic estate in the Savennieres Roche-aux-Moines sub-appellation of Anjou, Loire Valley, founded in 1981 by Monique Laroche and run since the early 2000s by her daughter Tessa. Le Berceau des Fees ('the cradle of the fairies') comes from a 2-hectare parcel of the estate's younger vines on sandstone schist, purple schist, green-gray schist and rhyolite, hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts and vinified entirely in stainless steel.
