Domaine de la Realtiere is a Demeter-certified biodynamic estate in Rians, at the eastern edge of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation, run by Pierre Michelland since 2001 after his father Jean-Louis began organic farming there in 1994. The 12-13 hectare property sits at roughly 450 meters altitude facing the Sainte-Victoire mountain.
Tasting Notes
A blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah aged on fine lees; poppy, watermelon and strawberry notes with a saline finish.
